HGI Healthcare began in 2003 as a division of The Hunter Group International, Inc. located in Huntersville, NC. HGI Healthcare was founded with the objective of providing superior healthcare staffing solutions in the Allied Health sector with a particular emphasis in Rehabilitation Therapy. HGI Healthcare has grown from staffing regionally in the southeast to a national healthcare staffing firm. In 2006, The Hunter Group International, Inc. and HGI Healthcare, Inc. became two separate companies. They still remain under the same ownership, and operate as sister companies.
